What is a third-level domain?

Description:

What is a third-level domain?

Solution:

A third-level domain is a domain that points to a subdirectory of an existing web site. In other words, you use a third-level domain to have a different web address for a subdirectory in your domain.

As you know, your website http://www.mydomain.com/, accesses information within the /html directory on your webserver. We can create http://something.mydomain.com/, and have it point directly to the /html/something directory.

There is a one time setup fee of $25 to activate a third-level domain. Please contact us via support@indiaaccess.com if you'd like have a third-level domain.
